CHAPTER FOUR: Making Tracks
Transport for London have strongly refuted claims that their new Autumn/Winter Central Line timetable favours more affluent areas. The new timetable sees the Central Line split into two sections leading to calls that some areas would be receiving a second class service. The “reorganisation” would see much of the track removed and passengers walking half a kilometre to access the nearest mainline Central Line services in Upper Leyton. TFL however insist that despite track being removed, East Londoners would receive a much improved service.
